I’m Juan Diego ZAMUDIO PADILLA, economist, professor of economics and researcher (Asia Center Studies) from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos ( UNMSM in Lima, Peru). I am a PhD candidate, teacher assistant, and mentor at Hiroshima University, where I also completed my Master’s (2020–2023).

My research theme in development focuses on two central strands:
First, identify and measure the challenges for development in Peru, especially in the fragile context of agriculture
Second, reducing constraints through causal impact evaluation for economic development and finding innovative solutions to achieve long-term goals.
